Rosary Together ("we," "our," "the app") is a prayer companionship app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
You can choose to post prayer requests anonymously, and to pray for others anonymously as well — when you do, your name is not shown to other users, including in any updates you post afterward or when a request is marked answered.
We do not collect location data, contacts, or browsing history, and we do not use advertising trackers.
We never sell your data, and we never show your email address to other users.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Shared-session records and other activity tied to a companion can't be deleted individually (since they're shared with another user), but can be removed as part of a full account deletion request below.
In the app (immediate): Open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete My Account. You'll be asked to confirm twice, and the deletion happens straight away — there is nothing to wait for and no request to send.
By email: If you can no longer sign in, or you'd rather we did it for you, send an email to hello@rosarytogether.app from the address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account." Include the email you signed up with if it's different from the sending address.
What gets deleted: Your profile (name, email), prayer requests and intentions, journal entries and prayer session history, companion connections, and notifications.
What may be retained, and why: Prayer contributions you made toward other users' requests (e.g. "5 Rosaries offered") are kept in anonymized form so we don't erase other users' prayer progress history — they are permanently disassociated from you, and your name no longer appears anywhere alongside them. Where you shared a prayer request that others prayed for, the request's title and intention text are erased, but a blank record remains so that everyone who prayed for it keeps their own prayer history intact. Crash/diagnostic records already sent to our crash-reporting provider prior to deletion are retained per that provider's own retention schedule, typically 30-90 days, and contain no account identifiers tying them back to you.
Timeline: Deleting from within the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days of receiving them.
Rosary Together is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Some countries set a higher minimum age for services like this — where that's so, the local age applies.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
